Poem: Above and Beyond

Have you ever wondered about your origin, where you come from and why are you here? What is the purpose of life, is it a mere stage where we play our parts and leave or is there a larger intelligence behind all of this? I thought to share this poem I wrote about my ideas on the same..
When I glided across the leafy boulevard
Gloriously lit by the bulb like stars
Glimmering across the tranquil night-sky,
In the wake of a billion memoirs split apart
It is no accident, it has a purpose
Lost in this stark, engulfing dimension
It dawns upon me as I try to find
That it's not just what we see
Or what is in the mind
The bus missed, the currency lost
The tender love for which we have forever fought
The jubilant grief, the testing times,
Everything romanticized beyond its might
No, we are not trivial,
Nor is the wailing of the young boy's stomach
All of us are in it together,
It is just us, we all are brothers
If it is no accident, I pause to ponder,
Do we have company beyond and yonder?
In search of meaning and nurturing mothers
Do we look deep inside, or begin to wander?
If it is no accident, I dreadingly contemplate,
Is it to say we are not to perish by the day?
All the stars that twinkled a lifetime
Unnervingly lost with the close of an eye
If it is no accident, I remind myself
What's the point of waking, dreaming
Loving or giving birth,
When it is deemed to never surpass this earth
If it is no accident, I calm my mind
Is someone playing with us, passing their time?
Our creator, the Almighty, god or the divine
Let's just lean in and pray to thine
If it is no accident, I beg to differ
There's nothing else I would otherwise prefer
That all of it's for me, I'm at the center of galaxies
This is the easiest to believe, amidst a plethora of other fallacies.
