Those eyes

Those deep, intense, sparkling eyes

On that cold, flushed, alluring skin

On that rugged, resilient skin

That day

That sunny, breezy, raring day

Those cheery, buoyant faces

Those intent, loving, impassioned faces

That glimpse

That blazing, passing, smoldering glimpse

In those relentless 5 seconds

In those knocking, enriching, moving 5 seconds

Those words

Those daunting, apologetic, deranged words

That you bellowed at me in your heart

That you hurled at me and tore me apart

That intensity

That shaking, deafening, unnerving intensity

I ran away to avoid your flare

I ran away so I needn’t answer that glare

That love.

That enthralling, enchanting, inexplicable love

That repulsive, riveting, revolting love

That love that makes you forget your reality,

That love that disguises as an ethereal fallacy

That love

That love that takes you to another plane

That love that could leave you mordaciously maimed

That love that provides for your delightful pain

That love that would never leave you the same

That love that would joyously kick your behind

That love that would run away with all their might

Then tell me how

How can I let those silences crawl on this non-existent paper

How can I be confident of the feelings that forever waver

How can I disentangle and cheerfully caper

How can I know if that’s what you favor

How can love leave me in this state of trance

How can I run to your arms

And garrulously prance

How can I ever take my stance

Oh love, you sure did take me by chance!
